BY MELISSA RUGGIERI

FRIDAY

Jackie Evancho

The child prodigy discovered on “America’s Got Talent” released her fifth album, “Awakening,” last fall at the ripe old age of 14. Her crystalline voice and ability to swing between classical and pop have boosted her popularity among the PBS crowd. Here, she’ll perform with musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

7:30 p.m. Feb. 20. $69.50-$125.50. Symphony Hall, 1280 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.

PartyNextDoor

The young Canadian musician is signed to Drake’s label and has stuck close to his mentor. PND (real name Jahron Brathwaite) has managed to overcome one of the most puzzling monikers in music with a high-profile slot on Drake’s 2013 tour with Future and Miguel as well as guest shots on Drake’s “Own It” and tunes on his new “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.” But the burgeoning R&B-hip-hop star has his own accomplishments, including his first full-length release, “PartyNextDoor Two,” which bowed last summer.

9 p.m. Feb. 20. Sold out. Center Stage, 1374 W. Peachtree St., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.

SATURDAY

Tinsley Ellis

Atlanta native — and Emory grad — Ellis has been unleashing stately blues-rock since 1988. He’s been a go-to guy, sharing stages with the Allman Brothers Band, Willie Dixon and Buddy Guy throughout his career, and in 2013 he re-established his independence with the launch of his Heartfixer Music record label. His latest, “Tough Love,” will be celebrated at this album release show.

8:30 p.m. Feb. 21. $17.50 (advance), $20 (day of show). Variety Playhouse, 1099 Euclid Ave. N.E., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.

TUESDAY

Echosmith

Last year, the L.A. quartet slow-burned its way onto the charts with the smooth ’80s throwback “Cool Kids.” The four siblings — Jamie (vocals, guitar), Sydney (vocals, keyboards), Noah (vocals, bass) and Graham Sierota (drums) — released their debut, “Talking Dreams,” in 2013. “Cool Kids” proved a huge crossover single, with more than 1.2 million sold; the group is trying to maintain its momentum with the equally gratifying “Bright.”

With the Colourist. 8 p.m. Feb. 24. $15 (advance), $18 (day of show). The Loft at Center Stage, 1374 W. Peachtree St., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.

THURSDAY

Punch Brothers

That the Punch Brothers are anchored by the pedigree of Nickel Creek’s mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile is impressive enough. But this quintet of ace progressive bluegrass musicians also has bloodlines traced to Leftover Salmon and the Infamous Stringdusters, among other acts. The collective’s fourth album, “The Phosphorescent Blues,” arrived a few weeks ago and bears the deft touch of producer T Bone Burnett.

8 p.m. Feb. 26. $33.50 (advance), $37 (day of show). Each ticket includes a download of the band's new album. The Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.
