Hey Brian Kemp! North Carolina needs you!
My oh my.
Imagine the horror and outrage that Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp would express if something like THIS happened here in the Peach State.
The information – an "official application form" – was sent by Americans for Prosperity, a national conservative group with a state chapter based in Raleigh.
Since then, hundreds of people who received the forms have called and complained to the State Board of Elections, said Joshua Lawson, a public information officer for the board.
The form includes incorrect or conflicting information, according to the State Board of Elections.... Misinformation about voter registration can be a felony if it is intentionally misleading and is proven to suppress voters, Lawson said."
Confronted with a scandal like that, I'm sure Kemp would be flinging around words like "felony" and "fraud" at every opportunity, promising to confront this dire threat to the sanctity of the electoral process ...
Oh. Wait.
Did that say "Americans for Prosperity"?
So probably not.
