Expect most of the traffic congestion caused by express-lane work this weekend to be along I-285 and I-75.
The good news is Georgia 400 should be the least of your worries.
Here are your trouble spots:
Northwest Corridor Express Lanes
I-285
The eastbound ramp to I-75 northbound will close from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
One eastbound lane will close between the I-75 interchange and Cumberland Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
One eastbound lane will close between Cobb Parkway and the I-285 eastbound ramp from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
I-575
One southbound lane will close between Alabama Road and Bells Ferry Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
I-75
Two southbound lanes will close between South Marietta Parkway and Delk Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic shift will take place on all northbound lanes between the I-285 interchange and Windy Hill Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic shift will take place on all southbound lanes between the I-285 interchange and Windy Hill Road from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
One southbound lane will close between the Canton Road Connector and North Marietta Parkway from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
A flagging operation will take place on Dickson Road NE under I-75 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
A flagging operation will take place on Hawkins Store Road under I-575 from 7 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Saturday and from 7 p.m. Saturday to 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
South Metro Express Lanes
I-75
Up to two southbound lanes will close between the I-675 interchange and Hudson Bridge Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.
One lane will close between Hampton Road and a mile after North McDonough Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close a mile before North McDonough Road and Jonesboro Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-85 Express Lanes Extension
One southbound lane and one northbound lane will close using a rolling lane between Old Peachtree Road and the I-985 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday
I-285
Two westbound and two eastbound lanes will close between South Cobb Drive and Paces Ferry Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday for work on the Atlanta Road bridge.
One southbound lane will close between Church Street and Memorial Drive from 9 p.m. Friday to 1 p.m. Sunday.
I-20
The westbound exit ramp to Liberty Road will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for concrete rehabilitation.
Two westbound lanes and a shoulder will close between the Downtown Connector interchange and the I-285 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The ramps at Lee Street, Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, Langhorn Street, Anderson Avenue and Hamilton E. Holmes Drive will close temporarily for resurfacing.
Two eastbound lanes and a shoulder will close just before Thornton Road and the I-285 interchange from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 7 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 7 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-75
Three southbound lanes and a shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and Jonesboro Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Two northbound lanes and a shoulder will close between Jonesboro Road and the I-285 interchange from 7 p.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday.
The Forest Parkway westbound entrance ramp to I-75 northbound will close from noon Sunday to midnight Monday. Traffic will continue on Forest Parkway and use the eastbound entrance ramp to I-75 northbound.
Two southbound lanes and shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and Tara Boulevard from 7 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-85
Two northbound lanes will close between Riverdale Road and Virginia Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Rolling lane closures will take place northbound and southbound between the Gwinnett County line and the I-75 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday.
Downtown Connector
Four southbound lanes and shoulder will close between Freedom Parkway and University Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday. from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Four northbound lanes and shoulder will close between University Avenue and Freedom Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Ga. 400
One northbound lane will close between MacFarland Road and Buford Highway from 7 a.m. Saturday to noon Monday.
Other State Routes
One lane will close on Rex Road and Evans Road near I-675 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge rehabilitation.
On Winder Highway, one northbound and one southbound lane will close between Stanley Court and the Barrow County line from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
On Lavista Road, up to two southbound lanes will close between I-285 and Briarcliff Road from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
