So this probably won't come as a shock. MARTA still has a problem with panhandlers.
That's despite a very public "Ride with Respect" outreach campaign that began a year and a half ago to crack down on nuisance behavior, and the launch of a new "See and Say" app to help riders quietly report it.
Unfortunately, nearly every regular MARTA rider has at some point or another been trapped on the train as a beggar solicits donations from a squirming, captive audience. AJC columnist Tom Sabulis relates his latest misadventure here:
