MARTA has been plenty busy preparing for the Feb. 3 Super Bowl in Atlanta.

Among other things, the agency will deploy more police officers, use "transit ambassadors" to assist passengers and run its trains more frequently as the big game approaches. MARTA gave the plan an early test during Saturday's SEC Championship, which went well.

The transit agency also hopes to boost sales by offering a commemorative Super Bowl Breeze Card (pictured above).

The cards will come in one-day, three-day and four-day passes. They'll be available at www.breezecard.com on Dec. 15, and they will be installed in all Breeze vending machines on Jan. 7.

MARTA will deploy employees to sell Breeze cards at numerous stations during the Super Bowl festivities.
