Cobb County interstates remain the place to avoid this weekend as the Georgia Department of Transportation continues work on area highways. Here’s a look at this weekend’s road work.

Cobb County

Traffic pacing will occur from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on I-575 northbound from Ga. 92 to south of Ridgewalk Parkway.

One northbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on I-575 from Ridgewalk Parkway to Sixes Road.

One southbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on I-575 from Chastain Road to Big Shanty Road.

One southbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday on I-575 from south of Holly Street to Sixes Road.

The I-75 southbound entrance ramp to South Marietta Parkway will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

One eastbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on I-285 from Paces Ferry Road to Mt. Wilkerson Parkway.

Three southbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on I-75 from South Marietta Parkway to north of Delk Road.

Three westbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on I-285 from Paces Ferry Road to Cobb Parkway.

A traffic shift will occur from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday on Terrell Mill Road from Water Place to Woodchase Lane.

One eastbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday on I-285 from Cumberland Boulevard to Cobb Parkway.

Fulton County

One westbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday on I-285 from Riverside Drive to Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

One northbound lane will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday on Ga. 400 from Hammond Drive to Mount Vernon Highway.

Clayton County

Two northbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday on I-75 from Ga. 85 to U.S. 19.

Rockdale County

One eastbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday on I-20 from Stockbridge Highway to Almon Road.
