Tyler Perry and his friend Janet Jackson had dinner in San Antonio and left a Texas-sized tip: $500.

Their meal at a vegetarian restaurant only cost $27. Check out this photo of the very happy dinner party.

Perry is ready for the start of the fall holiday season with a new teaser trailer for “Boo! A Madea Halloween 2.”

Watch Tyler Perry get into character

At the time the original “Boo” was released, he said it was the funniest movie he’d ever made.

“I want y’all to laugh, enjoy yourselves, tell somebody about it,” he said during a surprise appearance at an advance Atlanta screening at Regal Atlantic Station. “If you love it tell somebody. If you didn’t love it, shut your mouth!”

The movie was up for several "awards" nominations – by the spoof outfit that awards the Golden Raspberry trophy for the worst of everything. Perry himself was up for a worst-actress Razzie for his recurring role as Madea. He also picked up a worst director Razzie nomination, as well as a worst-combo nod for "Tyler Perry & That Same Old Worn Out Wig."

Fortunately, the Razzie judges found even worse projects and artists to award.

Dinesh D'Souza and Bruce Schooley "won" for worst director for "Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party." Rebekah Turner was named worst actress for her title role in that movie. Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill were deemed worst duo for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Anyway, Madea an’em don’t seem real mad about what the Raspberry people have to say. And when's the last time the Razzies made it rain like Mr. Perry!
