When President Obama teared up and sang with Aretha Franklin

The late Queen of Soul once brought former President Barack Obama to tears.

During the 2015 Kennedy Center honors he and then First Lady Michelle Obama sang along during Aretha Franklin's unforgettable performance of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman." Video below.

Franklin died Thursday morning in her Detroit home at age 76. She'd been in failing health for some time and earlier this week was reported to be in hospice care.

Franklin's stunning performance saluted honoree Carole King, who was clearly moved as Franklin took the stage and took a seat at the piano to begin the song:

Franklin, looking gorgeous in an elegant gown with a full-length fur coat, brought the house down with her powerhouse vocals.
