Honey Boo Boo and her kinfolk have been officially off the air since troubling allegations over whether family matriarch "Mama June" Shannon was seeing a convicted child molester, but the family may be poised for a comeback.

"We have some BIG things coming up this year but can't announce just yet," June said in a public post that also noted most of the family has relocated to metro Atlanta.
Serendipitously, here's TMZ with a photo of the Boo Boo clan arriving at the Los Angeles airport. Their sources indicate that there could be interest in some new show, but one with a more serious tone than the mud-bogging, Dumpster-diving themed original. This time, TMZ reports, producers are interested in content that would delve into the family's already well publicized drama over the child molestation claims.
It's but the latest hint that this over-the-top family could be returning to the small screen. Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson suggested he might have an iron in the fire and June's estranged daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, victim of past abuse at the hands of her mother's alleged former boyfriend, recently announced on her public Facebook page that she has retained a management firm and noted, "Well just join GRMEDIAFIRM Management maybe you will see more of me and my family."
TLC, which aired the original show, has scrubbed all "Honey Boo Boo" content from its web site and has dispensed with the Facebook page that was created to promote it. The Twitter account remains active, though.
