Actor Burt Reynolds is auctioning off an enormous stash of jewelry, clothing, artwork, furniture, vehicles, award trophies, signed sports memorabilia, movie mementos and assorted other odds and ends.
The star of scores of movies from 1972's "Deliverance," filmed in the north Georgia mountains, to "Smokey and the Bandit" (also filmed in Georgia) to more recent projects including "Boogie Nights" and "The Longest Yard," not to mention numerous television projects, has even put his Rolodex on the block.
Julien's Auctions, billed as "auction house to the stars," is handling the sale. You can bid online and there are items at every price point.

One item has already reached a bid of $6,500: "1990-1991 Primetime Emmy Award trophy presented to Burt Reynolds by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Wood Newton in the premiere episode of Evening Shade (CBS, 1990-1994) titled "A Day in the Life of Wood Newton."
Other items might be attainable at any budget. A collection of five wooden hangers started at $25 and is up to $300 after 18 bids.

Reynolds has been facing financial pressures for years. The Associated Press reported in 2011 that Merrill Lynch had sued the actor, claiming he had not made a mortgage payment since Sept. 1, 2010, on the 12,500-square-foot house he owned in Jupiter, Fla. "Merrill Lynch is asking a judge to order the home sold to satisfy debts," the AP reported at the time, noting that Reynolds had tried to sell the house several years before that without success.
The house must have been packed to the rafters, given the size and scope of this auction. Numerous pairs of boots, chaps, hats, sunglasses are up for grabs as are quotidian items like mantle clocks, paper weights, desk nameplates, belt buckles - even a collection of Bibles.

The AP reported earlier this year that Reynolds has a memoir coming out next year.
Titled "But Enough About Me," it's described as a tell-all in which "the 78-year-old Reynolds promises ... to 'set the record straight' on everything from his love affairs with Sally Field and Loni Anderson to his Cosmopolitan centerfold from 1972" and will also "cover his friendships with Clint Eastwood, Frank Sinatra and Johnny Carson, among others."
