On the heels of Ford Fry's Rocket Farms Restaurants temporarily shuttering all operations due to the coronavirus pandemic, Anne Quatrano's well-respected Star Provisions restaurant group has halted service as well.

Until March 28, the group had offered a “greatest hits” takeout menu from its Star Provisions retail shop on Ellsworth Industrial, offering favorite dishes from its constellation of restaurants including Bacchanalia, Floataway Cafe and W.H. Stiles Fish Camp.
Quatrano offered reassurance that the group would reopen. “It’s been such a pleasure to serve you during these past few trying weeks, providing good, convenient, comforting food at a time when meals seem like just one more thing to worry about. We’ve been heartened by your support of us and our workers during this period when little else seems to make sense,” she said in a prepared statement. “So it’s with heavy hearts that we’ve decided to suspend all Star Provisions operations—carry out and pick up—after Saturday, March 28. For the safety of our staff members and the safety of all Atlanta—which goes far beyond our friends and customers—we know this is the right thing to do, even though it’s also a hard thing to do. Thank you for all your support, and we can’t wait to invite you back when things clear up.”

Quatrano joins a growing list of many of Atlanta's most successful restaurant groups who have temporarily shuttered, including Linton and Gina Hopkins' hospitality group Hopkins & Co., Kevin Gillespie's Red Beard Restaurants, Big Citizen restaurant group and Fifth Group.
