Ford Fry closes all Atlanta restaurants until April 13

Rocket Farm Restaurants, the restaurant group headed by Chef Ford Fry, is temporarily closing all of its restaurants through April 13, including takeout and delivery orders.

“We have decided to temporarily close to proactively help prevent the spread of the virus as the safety of our employees, guests and surrounding communities remains our top priority,” said a spokesperson for the group in an email to the AJC.

Prior to today, Rocket Farm Restaurants’ varied properties had adopted a range of responses to the coronavirus pandemic, from pivoting to takeout-only to halting operations. Many of the group’s restaurants, like the multi-location Superica, closed for a few days before reopening for takeout service.

With 17 restaurants spread throughout Atlanta and in Houston, Charlotte and Nashville, the restaurant group has ceased all operations in the interest of slowing the spread of the novel coronavirus.
