Southwest Airlines is adding flights from Atlanta to Nashville starting Aug. 7.

The carrier launched a fare sale with prices starting at $19 each way for purchase through Saturday, with limited seats and various restrictions on dates of travel and other factors.

Dallas-based Southwest, the second-largest carrier at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, said it had gotten requests for the service from the business community in both Nashville and Atlanta. It will operate five departures a day on weekdays and three a day on weekends.
