Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said if customers have concerns about their tickets booked to areas determined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control to be affected by the Zika virus, they should call Delta customer service.
Delta said customers can call 1-800-221-1212 or the reservations line for their region of the world. The airline said customers can change their reservations without paying certain fees if they make changes by February 29, 2016.
Customers may qualify for a change to alternate destinations, travel dates or a refund, according to Delta.
The CDC has issued a travel alert for regions and countries where there is active Zika virus transmission. The CDC has named more than 20 areas with active Zika virus transmission.
