Atlanta airport security lines snake through terminal

Airport security lines at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport snaked out from the main security checkpoint through the terminal and back through baggage claim Saturday morning as holiday travelers began their trips.

Amid the long lines, the Transportation Security Administration at mid-morning Saturday was using a form of expedited screening using bomb-sniffing dogs with fewer security lanes open.

Lines were also long at some airline ticket counters.
