Coca-Cola's agreement Monday to continue as the Atlanta Braves non-alcoholic beverage of choice is part of a long tradition between the team and the beverage giant.
Ted Ryan, director of Heritage Communications for Atlanta-based Coke, said the team and Coke have been partners since the days when the Braves were a team in Boston and came to be known as the “Miracle Braves.”
The two stuck together through the team’s move to Milwaukee and eventually to Atlanta in 1966.
