One of the questions I get asked most frequently by readers, especially those with iPhones and Mac computers, is, “What’s the best way to get tech support from Apple?” My answer is typically to schedule a Genius Bar visit at an Apple retail store, but if a store’s not nearby or convenient to schedule, the tech giant has made another option available in addition to phone and email support.

If you're a Twitter user, Apple's new @AppleSupport opened for business on Thursday and quickly got to the business of replying to thousands of people with problems. You can skim Tweets and replies, even if you're not a Twitter user, at twitter.com/applesupport.

It’s unclear how long the wait time will be at any given moment on Twitter, but it’s one more avenue to pursue if you’ve got a glitchy smart phone, a crashing iMac or problems with other Apple products.
