Want another view of what the future NCR headquarters in Midtown Atlanta will look like?

Below is a flyover video showing the glass tower at Spring and 8th streets. It shows off the see-through glass that NCR Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti has hyped as allowing Georgia Tech students to see into the building and watch their engineers dream up new technologies.

NCR is best known for making ATMs and cash registers, but the company is changing into more of a software and services business under Nuti. Nuti has said the company wants to be instrumental in creating a "Silicon Valley of the East" in Midtown, and the building and efforts to engage Tech are key to that vision.

The tower is NCR’s bet that moving from Duluth to Midtown will make it more attractive to the next generation of workers and raise the company’s profile among the region’s top employers.

The property is being developed by Cousins Properties. The designers are HKS and Duda Paine Architects. JLL is the real estate services firm representing NCR.
