The owner of Phipps Plaza in Buckhead released new details Wednesday and a rendering showing the new look of its exterior overhaul.

The Peachtree Road entrance will feature a new façade displaying some of the mall’s top brands, including Versace, Tiffany & Co., Giorgio Armani and Botttega Veneta, according to a news release from owner Simon, which also owns nearby Lenox Square.

The new façade work is scheduled to be finished by the end of the year.

“Recognized as one of the country’s premier centers for luxury shopping, Phipps Plaza is always seeking ways to not only enhance the shopper experience, but also the overall aesthetic of the center,” Michelle Smart, head of leasing for Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, said in a news release. “The new façade of storefronts welcoming shoppers to the center offers a dynamic atmosphere for our guests and a prominent, visual opportunity for our best-in-class brands to highlight their stores.”

The mall has undergone a sizable facelift, with new lighting, lounge areas, restaurants and a concierge center, according to a news release. A 319-unit luxury apartment development – known as Domain at Phipps Plaza – is under development and will open in phases starting in June. An AC Hotels by Marriott is also expected to open in the spring.
