Boutique fitness studios are officially a thing. The next one to hit metro Atlanta is DEFINE Body & Mind, which opens next month at 1833 Peachtree Rd NE Atlanta.

Here’s how the concept works:

DEFINE body is a 60-minute strength and flexibility class that combines Pilates, yoga, ballet, and core strengthening to target all the major muscle groups in the body. Classes use small hand weights, a ballet barre, a mat, and a ball to help you burn fat and lose inches.

DEFINE mind is a 60 minute class focused on flexibility, refreshing the body, and calming the mind.

DEFINE rev is the brand's take on indoor cycling which combines the principles of isometrics with cardio blasting.

On Wednesday, August 26 at 7 p.m. DEFINE is hosting a free class on the patio of Park Tavern at Piedmont Park, 500 10th Street NE, Atlanta.

The class will introduce attendees to DEFINE’s 30 minute Xpress body class designed to help tone and lengthen muscles through traditional barre and Pilates movements. The class uses hand weights and a ball for toning.

After the class, attendees can enjoy half-off wine from Park Tavern, sushi, a swag bag and more from brands such as Buffboxx, Miller’s Artisan Soda, and Popstars.

Mats, equipment, and towels will be provided. Parking is $3 or park free on 10th, Kanuga or neighboring streets.

For information or to register, visit  www.atlanta.definebody.com   (or email atlanta@definebody.com).

You’ll also find information on pre-opening specials which include $70 savings on three different monthly membership plans.
