Weekend Deals: Free farmer’s market tokens, Fox block party, kids eat free

Georgia Organics/Chipotle: On Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m-10 p.m. you can support GA Organics by eating at any of the 29 Atlanta-area Chipotle restaurants. The first 50 guests from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Decatur location, 198 W Ponce De Leon Ave., Decatur will receive free swag from Georgia Organics and $5 in market tokens to spend on local food, branded tote bags, and more. Chipotle will donate up to $10,000 from the day to Georgia Organics. The money will support the Georgia Organics "My Market Program" which encourages people to shop regularly at their local farmers markets.

The Fox Theatre Block Party: On Sunday, June 7 from noon – 6 p.m. celebrate the Fox's return in 1975 as a popular performance venue. The event includes live entertainment on two stages featuring Francine Reed, Bogey & the Viceroy, Orquesta MaCuba, and Tribute – A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band. There will also be tours, food and drinks, activities, and prizes. The event is rain or shine at the intersection of Peachtree Street NE and Ponce de Leon Avenue. It is free and open to the public.

The Melting Pot: Get his Summertime Sunday Special at the Melting Pot restaurants. Every Sunday through Aug. 30, kids eat free with the purchase of each adult four-course entrée. Additional children's entrées are just $15.99. For information, visit www.meltingpot.com.
