The Fortune 500 rankings are out and 18 companies in metro Atlanta made the list, compared to 16 last year.

Overall, there are 20 Georgia companies on the 2015 Top 500 list, up 18 from the year before. Thirty-three Georgia companies rank in the Fortune 1000.
