Pure Barre: Join the Change of Heart Pure Give Benefiting the American Heart Association on Saturday, May 9
during the 2 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. classes at Pure Barre Virginia Highland. The partnership with SELF Magazine features an afternoon of workouts that bring awareness to the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement. A portion of the $20 registration fee will benefit the American Heart Association. In addition, each attendee will receive a one-year subscription to SELF Magazine and a swag bag. Peter Buffett performs at the High Museum of Art: The son of billionaire investor Warren Buffett will give a public performance offering insights into lessons learned growing up with his dad. The one night event takes place May 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the High Museum of Art in the Walter C. Hill Auditorium. Buffett will combine a cello-accompanied piano and vocal performance with video clips from his film, TV and philanthropic work.
