Save big on P & G products

Dawn, Charmin, Bounty: Walgreens has a promotion that gives you 5,000 Balance Rewards points worth $6.25 when you spend $20 or more on selected Procter & Gamble products. For example, Dawn dish liquid (9 ounce) is on sale for 99 cents. Use the 25-cent coupon from the May 3 Procter & Gamble circular to pay 74 cents each. The full 99-cent price will be credited toward the $20 spending goal. Charmin Ultra Bath Tissue (six double rolls) is on sale for $3.49. Use the 25-cent coupon from the same circular to pay $3.24 each. Bounty paper towels (six count) are on sale for $4.99. Use the 25-cent coupon to pay $4.74. If you were to get two packages of Bounty and three of Charmin, using coupons for each item, you would pay $19.20 at the register. After the 5,000 points, your net cost would be $12.95 for all five items.

Triple your coupon power

This month’s P&G circular has high-value coupons for Tide, Pantene, Herbal Essences, Olay, Secret, Gillette and many more.
