Follow coverage of the national political conventions from AJC

The AJC Politics team is offering extensive coverage of the Democratic National Convention and the Republican National Convention, with a focus on topics of interest to Atlanta and Georgia readers, as part of deep reporting on the upcoming elections in November.

Both conventions are largely virtual because of concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. The Democratic National Convention, both online and in Milwaukee, began Monday Aug. 17 and ended on Thursday, Aug. 20.

The Republican National Convention, both online and in Charlotte, N.C., is Monday, Aug. 24 through Thursday, Aug. 27.
