Fulton sheriff: Labat avoids runoff

With early votes in and all precincts reporting countywide, Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat took about 54% of the votes in a four-way Democratic primary, according to unofficial results. That’s enough to win him a second four-year term, if he likewise defeats five-time candidate Charles Rambo in the fall, who is running an independent write-in campaign.
