The first person from the Walker family to speak about the outcome of the runoff was Herschel Walker’s eldest child, Christian, and he did not mince words in light of his father’s defeat in Georgia’s U.S. Senate runoff.

“Don’t beat women, hold guns to peoples heads, fund abortions then pretend your pro-life, stalk cheerleaders, leave your multiple minor children alone to chase more fame, lie, lie, lie, say stupid crap, and make a fool of your family ... And then maybe you can win a senate seat,” Christian wrote on Twitter.

It was part of a series of tweets he wrote shortly after the race was called for incumbent U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock.

Christian Walker has been critical of his father ahead of the November general election as his controversies mounted, and his tweets and videos on the subject went viral. But he stayed out of the limelight during the runoff.

In his tweets late Tuesday, Christian Walker repeated his claims that his father had been heavily recruited to run against Warnock and agreed to do so despite objections from those close to him. His father’s scandals were not comparable to any allegations that Warnock faced, he wrote.

The younger Walker also criticized fellow Republicans because they “ran this man mainly because he was the same skin color as his opponent with no background other than football. A boring old Republican could have won.”
