The state Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday morning in Atlanta on the 20th floor of 2070 Twin Towers East.

Board members are expected to affirm the creation of four charter schools. State Department of Education staff members will give updates on grants and contracts, and there is likely to be some discussion of flexibility options for school districts.

The meeting begins at 8 a.m.
