It isn't illegal for U.S. House candidates to live outside their districts. In Georgia's most competitive districts, at least six candidates don't live in the districts they're running to represent. A few others have moved into the districts before filing to run. Here's a look at those candidates.
Brenda Lopez Romero -- Democrat, 7th District candidate -- is renting an apartment in Norcross outside the district while she house hunts. Since 2017, she has been a State House member, which requires her to live within her state district.
