A bipartisan group of Georgia senators announced Thursday that they had formed a new Atlanta delegation in their chamber, to better represent the city on legislative and government issues.

The new seven-member delegation includes five Democrats and two Republicans, whose districts are either in or include Atlanta neighborhoods:

The delegation will meet Tuesday with the existing Atlanta House Delegation.
