A bipartisan group of Georgia senators announced Thursday that they had formed a new Atlanta delegation in their chamber, to better represent the city on legislative and government issues.

The new seven-member delegation includes five Democrats and two Republicans, whose districts are either in or include Atlanta neighborhoods:

  • Sen. Horacena Tate, D–Atlanta
  • Sen. Elena Parent, D–Atlanta
  • Sen. Hunter Hill, R–Smyrna
  • Sen. Vincent Fort, D–Atlanta
  • Sen. Fran Millar, R–Dunwoody
  • Sen. Gail Davenport, D–Jonesboro
  • The delegation will meet Tuesday with the existing Atlanta House Delegation.
