The Georgia General Assembly at a glance for Wednesday, Day 31 of the 2018 legislative session:

Carving Stockbridge: A proposal to create the city of Eagle's Landing, Senate Bill 263, will be considered by the House Governmental Affairs Committee. The House already passed a related bill, Senate Bill 262, that would de-annex a portion of the city of Stockbridge and put it into the potential city of Eagle's Landing.

Secret lottery: If you win big on the Georgia Lottery, you could keep your identity secret under Senate Bill 331. The legislation allows anyone who wins more than $250,000 to keep their information confidential upon written request. The bill is being heard in the House Higher Education Committee.

Land dispute: A long-running Georgia effort to force Tennessee to hand over long-disputed land, Senate Resolution 794, will be reviewed by the House Interstate Cooperation Committee. Georgia lawmakers contend that both states' constitutions set the border at the 35th parallel, but a flawed survey in 1818 misplaced the border. The House previously passed a similar measure, House Resolution 943.
