There's one thing we all wish we had more of — time. Sometimes the drive-thru line at Chick-fil-A can seem endless, but now customers have the option to dine-in with less hassle.

Chick-fil-A recently introduced a new feature on its mobile app to make ordering a lot quicker. Since the launch of Chick-fil-A's mobile ordering three years ago, customers have been able to quickly place carry-out and drive-thru orders, but now the same rules apply when dining inside, according to Chick-fil-A.

“Customers will be able to access Dine-In Mobile Ordering through the Chick-fil-A App, just as they can for other mobile orders,” Chick-fil-A said. “After selecting ‘Mobile Order,’ the Dine-In option will be listed alongside the Carry-Out and Drive-Thru options.”

Instead of heading straight to the counter, you can now get seated and order through the app and check in directly from your table. Simply find an open table with a number on it, and then tap your phone to the table number. You can also enter in your table number manually.

With the goal of putting more control in the hands of its customers, Chick-fil-A has been testing the new feature for a few months now. “It’s just another way we can care for our customers,” said Bill Fink, local franchise operator at Chick-fil-A in Oldsmar, Florida. “We want to make it as convenient and efficient as possible for them, and this helps remove that instinct to simply leave when our drive-thru looks too crowded.”
