Officials in Cherokee County, Georgia said a man stole credit cards and IDs from eight cars — before falling asleep in one of them.
Timothy Zacharie, 23, of Acworth, was arrested Tuesday after a deputy found him inside a resident’s car in the Tyson Woods subdivision in Acworth, according to a statement from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. The unlocked car was in front of one of the homes in the neighborhood, the statement said.
Authorities found Zacharie with credit cards, cash, gift cards and IDs belonging to residents of the subdivision, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was charged with eight counts of entering an auto, one count of burglary and violation of probation. He is being held without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
