So you fled Irma and wound up in Atlanta. Maybe you're being told not to go home yet. Now what?

Well, one option is to see a performance of “Shakespeare in Love” for free.

Alliance Theatre is offering all displaced residents of Florida and Texas, and any residents from Georgia and South Carolina under a mandatory evacuation order, a free pass to the Tuesday evening performance.

Non-evacuees will pay $10 to $60 for a ticket.

The show beings at 7:30 p.m. at Oglethorpe University’s Conant Performing Arts Center, Alliance’s temporary home while its main performance space is renovated.

The box office will open at 6:30 p.m., and the promotion limits four tickets per state I.D. The theater is located at 4484 Peachtree Road NE.

Anyone who bought tickets for Tuesday's performance but cannot attend because of the weather may exchange the tickets for another "Shakespeare in Love" performance without an exchange fee. To do so, call the box office at 404-733-5000 and leave a voicemail. The call will be returned.
