It seems like Applebee’s understands that the holidays can be stressful.

Maybe that's why the restaurant chain will be offering $1 Long Island Iced Teas all of December, according to a news release. And metro Atlanta has more than a few Applebee's.

If you’re unfamiliar or don’t remember, the restaurant describes the potion thusly: “The fan-favorite cocktail is made with a delicious new mix of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec and sweet & sour mix with a splash of cola.”

The chain ran a deal like this with margaritas in October.

There are Applebee's locations from Kennesaw to Lithonia and from Snellville to Lithia Springs, according to the company's website.

In Cobb County, there are also locations in Smyrna and Marietta and two on the border in Lithia Springs and Hiram.

Gwinnett County has restaurants in Duluth, Lawrenceville, Loganville and Buford.

DeKalb County has spots in Tucker, Stone Mountain and Decatur.

The deal runs all day, every day.

The company didn't give a limit to how many you can get, but you'll probably figure that out yourself. Its promotional materials for the special do advise you to ‘drink responsibly, drive responsibly.’

“The ‘Dollar L.I.T.’ is kind to your pocket book and a great drink to share with old friends and new ones this holiday season,” said Patrick Kirk, the chain’s vice president of beverage innovation.

He failed to mention whether the drink is kind to your liver.
