Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum, who has shaken up the GOP race over the past two weeks, will visit Georgia on Sunday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned.

Santorum will keynote a "God and Country" rally at First Redeemer Church in Cumming at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Tim Echols told the AJC.

Echols is chairman of the state Public Service Commission and has endorsed the former Pennsylvania senator, who finds himself challenging Mitt Romney for the lead in several national polls of the GOP nomination race since sweeping a trio of states earlier this month.
