Reed, mayors, meet with Obama

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed was in Washington on Monday, joining other mayors to meet with President Barack Obama.

According to a report from the White House, the subject was the economy. Joining Reed were other cities' leaders, including Detroit Mayor David Bing, Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx and Joe Riley, the long-serving mayor of Charleston, S.C.

According to the White House, Vice President Joe Biden was also in the meeting. A spokeswoman for Reed could not immediately provide more information.
