Presentation in Gainesville on I-85 HOT lanes

State Road and Tollway Authority Director Gena Evans is scheduled to speak to a Gainesville planning agency about the I-85 HOT lane project next week.

Evans' presentation to the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization’s policy committee was scheduled months ago, according to the MPO. It is slated for 10 a.m., Nov. 1.

A public town hall meeting in Gwinnett County about the HOT lanes on Monday drew hundreds of frustrated residents. The Gainesville meeting is not a town hall.
