Nearly 80 new homes are coming to a Gwinnett County neighborhood after the new subdivision won the approval of the Board of Commissioners Tuesday.

Commissioners approved the zoning necessary for 78 single-family homes in the 4500 block of Old Norcross Road near Duluth. Taylor Morrison of Georgia LLC plans to build the homes on 20 acres near the intersection of Old Norcross Road and Millerbrook Drive.

The county will require each home to have a minimum heated floor area of 2,600 square feet. It also will require 10-foot-wide landscaped screening around the development.
