The city of Lawrenceville will open a new park, the Lawrenceville Lawn, this weekend.

The park’s opening, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, will mark the kickoff of the city’s seventh annual Rock’n Ribville Festival.

The Lawn is located at 210 Luckie Street. It’s meant to be a vibrant place for residents and visitors to spend time.

To coincide with the opening, the city has created a new event policy that applies to the Lawn, road closures around the historic courthouse and parades and walk/run events. More information about the policy can be found here.
