Henry commission installs new leaders, makes several board appointments

Henry County commissioners, led by newly installed chairman Tommy Smith, outlined its new organizational structure for several different county boards at its first meeting of the year this week. Commissioner Reid Bowman is the new vice chair. Shay Mathis was re-appointed county clerk. Appointments also were made to the recreation board, the county water and sewerage authority, zoning advisory board, development authority, library board and the Council on Aging.
