Fulton County mayors met Thursday to continue discussing plans to expand transit in the region.

Last year, the group succeeded in agreeing to fund road and other transportation improvements with a three-quarter penny sales tax that went into effect last month.

Now, with the help of the Atlanta Regional Commission, they are studying the transit needs in north and south Fulton to figure out the best way to move forward.

The plan should be completed by the end of the year.
