Fulton County and Atlanta, which earlier announced that they would close their downtown offices early Monday to help ease expected bad traffic, said Sunday night that all offices will be closed Monday.

The change comes as stormy weather is predicted. President Donald Trump will also be in town to attend the college football championship game between Georgia and Alabama at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

In Fulton County, government offices, including the courts, will be closed “to ensure the safety of our employees,” the county said in a statement.

Atlanta government offices and the Atlanta Municipal Court will close for the entire day on Monday due to the Winter Weather Advisory, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced Sunday evening. Essential employees are still expected to report to work.
