Early voting in school board, judge races underway in Henry County

Early voting ahead of July 24 election underway in Henry County.

July 3, 2018Early voting has begun in Henry County for the July 24 races for a school board seat and a state judgeship.
Board of Education member Donna McBride is hoping to retain her 4th District seat in a race against challenger Sophe Cook Pope in the July 24 election.
Also on the ballot are Chaundra Lewis and David Brown, who are battling to win a State Court Judge seat on the judiciary.
Early voting is underway at the Henry County Elections and Voter Registration Office, 40 Atlanta Street, in McDonough.
Voting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the following days:
Tuesday, July 3
Thursday and Friday, July 5 and July 6
Monday through Saturday July 9-14
Monday through Friday July 16-20
Voters should report to their regular polling places on election day, July 24.
