DOT awards transit dispatch contract

The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded a $1.6 million contract to Routematch Software. The software is to help local mass transit agencies with dispatching and scheduling, and filing reports with DOT.

It can be used by agencies across the state, and in the metro area is already used by Henry County Transit, according to Daisy Wall, vice president of marketing for RouteMatch Software.
