Two Atlanta women have joined Keisha Sean Waits in running for an empty seat in House District 60, which covers the area where Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton counties meet. Democrats Theresa F. Middlebrooks and Latrenka R. Riley paid their fees and joined the race.

House District 107 in Gwinnett County has attracted four candidates from Loganville: Republicans Mark Banks, Tom Kirby and Paul Smith, plus Michael P. Lynch, who filed as a nonpartisan candidate.

The elections are nonpartisan special elections with no primaries, but each candidate’s party affiliation will be listed on the ballot. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Feb. 7.
