A damning audit of the operations of the Wolf Creek Amphitheater in Fulton County shows a department that worked without regard to county policy.
Employees at the amphitheater printed out between 500 and 700 tickets to each concert, the audit showed. It is not clear whether employees sold the tickets or gave them away, but they did not have permission to print them at all.
Additionally, the audit shows that Wolf Creek workers were not following cash management policies, and money sometimes was not deposited for months.
And workers signed contracts with promoters and other companies, though they did not have the authority to do so.
The findings are “disturbing,” County Manager Dick Anderson said.
