The noon hearing will focus on the need for additional federal funds to purchase personal protective and other health care equipment; the impact of a lack of federal comprehensive testing, tracing, and targeted containment plan; and how the government can address budget crisis and other economic hardships facing cities and their residents, according to committee aide.
