The Atlanta City Council’s finance committee is hosting a town hall next week on the city’s proposed $565.5 million annual budget. Residents may attend the public hearing or watch the broadcast on City Channel 26 or online by visiting www.atlantaga.gov and clicking the “ATL City Channel 26” icon. Participants may ask questions in a variety of ways, including: emailing atlantacouncil@atlantaga.gov, texting questions to 404-392-0159, posting questions to the council’s Facebook page (

) or via twitter by sending a message to @ATLCouncil with the hashtag #atlbudget. The meeting will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the Council Chamber at Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue.
