If you're hitting the road this summer to explore all that Georgia has to offer — from hikes to beaches to quirky roadside attractions — you have to factor in the road trip snacks.

As travelers know, no road trip is complete without some local grub. And while navigating social distancing and safety measures makes going to restaurants different this summer, there are still local eats to be had.

In a new list, Yelp rounded up the best road trip food in every state, including here in Georgia.

To determine the best fare in class, Yelp reviewed businesses with a large concentration of reviews mentioning “roadside” or “road trip.”

Here in Georgia, Zunzi's in Savannah took the crown. The eatery specializes in sandwiches, which Yelp users are quick to praise.

“This unassuming sandwich place that is literally a hole in the wall is one of Savannah's finest gems. This is a South African inspired sandwich joint,” Yelp user Kristin O. wrote.

“If you're looking for the BEST sandwich in the world, well look no further! My husband and I eat here just about weekly, another user, Candace M., wrote.
